Women's Freedom Festival was created to address a lack of spaces for queer women in the Los Angeles area. The event aligns annually with WeHo Pride’s Dyke March and is presented by the L-Project and West Hollywood. The 2026 festival takes place June 6 at WeHo Pride’s Celebration Stage at Santa Monica Blvd. and La Peer Dr. The lineup includes Klymaxx, DJ Shugga Shay, Deesco, with MCs Shiah Luna and Stevi Shari. The festival is described as the only feminine-centered concert event dedicated to spotlighting 2SLGBTQIA+ artists, DJs, dancers, and speakers. Production is carried out in collaboration with predominantly lesbian- and queer-owned vendors, suppliers, and production staff.
