This decision comes shortly before the release of his album focused on his transition. Larsen expressed frustration, stating that the visa restrictions prevent him from touring, as he identifies as trans and holds an 'M' on his passport. He considered alternate plans to tour under restrictive conditions but ultimately decided there was 'no way to move forward.'
Taking to Instagram, Larsen confirmed that his tour will be cancelled following the American Federation of Musicians stating that he can no longer apply for a visa that aligns with his gender.
The irony of the cancellation is that it comes exactly two weeks before the release of his album, which is about his transition.
