Toronto kicks off Pride Month on June 1, showcasing a celebration of the 2SLGBTQ+ community with a lineup emphasizing safety, visibility, and Canadian representation. Executive director Kojo Modeste noted the importance of this year's theme, 'All In,' particularly in support of the transgender and non-binary community amid rising hate crimes. The festival features over 400 performers across multiple events, focusing on local talent while ensuring a safe environment for all attendees. Pride Toronto aims to send a clear message of support and commitment to the community's growth and presence.
