San Mateo: Burger popup starts this weekend at Coyote Point
Briefly

Coyote Point Recreation Area in San Mateo will host a weekend pop-up by Maverick Jack's starting August 9, serving burgers, hot dogs, sliders, veggie burgers, fries, and beverages. The hours will be Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This addition responds to visitor requests for prepared food at the park. Parks Director Nicholas Calderon emphasized that the initiative took time to implement but will add enjoyment to visitors' experiences. The pop-up will remain open until October and is located near Boardsports and the Bay Trail.
Maverick Jack's has locations in San Mateo and at the Broadway Caltrain station in Burlingame, and its slogan is "Mostly burgers but also drinks & other foods."
The pop-up is in response to requests from park visitors for prepared food to be available at the park, according to an announcement from the San Mateo County Parks department.
