Bay Area Dance Week (BADW) showcases the vibrant dance community in the Bay Area, the largest per capita center for dance in the U.S. Founded in 1998 by Dancers' Group, the festival features various dance styles, offering free classes, rehearsals, and performances. Wayne Hazzard and Dudley Flores, key figures in the local dance scene, emphasize the importance of diversity and inclusivity. Hazzard, with over 65 years of experience, has been instrumental in promoting the visibility and viability of dance through his role as executive director of Dancers' Group.
