The father of a 4-year-old boy, who fell into the Merrimack River, is soliciting public assistance in finding his son. The boy, described as wearing a red fuschia shirt and blue sneakers, reportedly slipped while near the water. First responders were alerted shortly after the incident, indicating that the boy was quickly taken by the river's current. As the search continues, the father remains hopeful for his son's return and emphasizes the importance of community support in this difficult time.
"Preliminary indications are that the boy was quickly pulled by the current into the Merrimack River," police said Sunday.
López expressed his hope, stating, 'We will continue the search downstream with faith in God that we will find him... now what we need is community support to help us find him, even if it's just the body.'
