Recognized for their excellence in maternity care, these hospitals maintain low rates of elective early deliveries and adhere to high safety standards. Mike Bowers, the interim president, emphasizes the significance of a healthy start for newborns, stating that the care provided sets new families on a positive path. Nearly 40,000 babies were delivered at these hospitals last year, showcasing their crucial role in community health.
This is the sixth year Kaiser Permanente Northern California hospitals have been recognized by Newsweek for meeting rigorous standards for maternity care.
