Kaiser Permanente Northern California celebrates twelve of its hospitals being named among America's Best Maternity Hospitals by Newsweek magazine for the sixth consecutive year. Recognized for their excellence in maternity care, these hospitals maintain low rates of elective early deliveries and adhere to high safety standards. Mike Bowers, the interim president, emphasizes the significance of a healthy start for newborns, stating that the care provided sets new families on a positive path. Nearly 40,000 babies were delivered at these hospitals last year, showcasing their crucial role in community health.
This is the sixth year Kaiser Permanente Northern California hospitals have been recognized by Newsweek for meeting rigorous standards for maternity care.
'We know the importance of giving babies a healthy start in life,' said Mike Bowers, FACHE, 'and our labor and delivery teams are providing these new families with quality care as they embark on this exciting chapter in their lives.'
