In an impressive display of resilience, the Leigh boys volleyball team clinched the Central Coast Section Division I championship again in 2025. Despite being a much younger team than the previous yearâs champions, they fought back from losing the first set 25-17 against Branham, demonstrating remarkable composure to win the next two sets. After a close fourth set, Leigh dominated the fifth set to secure the title. Coach Jeff Argabright expressed his pride in the players, noting their ability to handle pressure despite the teamâs lack of experience, highlighting their growth and potential.
"We had one starter returning and started four underclassmen, and these guys, there was never a moment too big. It was amazing. I'm so proud of them."
