Alisa Perales, at just 11 years old, has graduated from Crafton Hills College with associate degrees in multiple sciences and mathematics, becoming one of the youngest graduates in California. Her father, Rafael Perales, left his law career to home-school her. Alisa demonstrated extraordinary focus and creativity in her studies, achieving a 3.8 GPA over her 2.5 years at the college. She has been accepted at several University of California campuses and aspires to work at SpaceX, particularly in artificial intelligence, highlighting her ambitious future.
The path toward the graduation stage started a decade ago, when Perales noticed his daughter's natural academic prowess.
‘It was my first time I had ever had a student so young,’ said Ruiz, who taught Alisa for two semesters and served as her programming coach.
