Conor Coleman, aged 19, sustained critical injuries after being hit by a car in Little Island, Cork, late on Friday evening. He passed away on Saturday despite the medical team's efforts at Cork University Hospital. His family expressed gratitude to the ICU staff and organ transplant team. Coleman is survived by his parents, brother, grandparents, and friends. His funeral will be held at the Church of Our Lady and St John in Carrigaline. Gardaí are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage from the incident.
