"SOMA Nights" Neighborhood Block Party + Night Market (SF)
Briefly

Monthly SOMA Nights host art, food, and cultural events along Folsom Street between 6th and 12th, with over 20 participating businesses, pop-up vendors, performances, and street activations. Events aim to connect residents and local businesses during the Folsom Streetscape Project, supporting legacy businesses at risk of closing. Hallan Street and Langton Street will be closed to traffic from 5–9 p.m. Special food and drink activations run 5–9 p.m. between 6th and 8th, with more than 20 small businesses and live music. After 9 p.m. the event continues at over 15 clubs on the 9th–12th corridor. The May 22 kickoff features local bands performing in streets and four bars, vinyl DJs on Langton, and live stages on Hallam.
Our monthly events encourage collaboration and creativity bringing together local businesses who have operated in SOMA for the past 3 decades who need local support to survive through the major street construction. The Folsom Street corridor is now one of five new entertainment zones established across the city to boost small business activity through reimagining public spaces with arts, culture, and entertainment
Music City SF has opened its stable of local bands, who will be performing in the streets and in four bars-Driftwood, Deccant, Azucar Lounge, and Enterprise Brewing. On Langton Street, Here & There Records will spin vinyl and keep the dance floor moving until 9 p.m. Meanwhile, the Hallam Street Stage will feature Bayonics, a Mission district band blending reggae and Latin music, followed by Baycoin Beats, a jazz-soul fusion band known for their classy, high-energy sets.
