
"The San Francisco 49ers and Jauan Jennings have reached agreement on a deal that will add $3 million in play-time incentives to the wide receiver's contract, his agents, Drew and Jason Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday. Now, instead of earning $7.5 million this season, Jennings can earn up to $10.5 million. Jennings is entering the final season of the two-year deal he signed in 2024."
"He previously sought a lucrative long-term contract extension, and Niners general manager John Lynch said last week that Jennings requested a trade "a while ago." However, his agents said he turned down a multiyear deal. He will become a free agent after this season. Jennings also has been dealing with a calf injury he sustained July 27 in training camp. Monday was his first practice since then. His agents said negotiations picked up as he began recovering and got healthy."
