On May 10, 2025, the museum will open its doors for free to unveil the student showcase, "CHALLENGING A WHITE-WASHED HISTORY: CHINESE LAUNDRIES IN THE U.S." This initiative combines oral histories, artwork, and artifacts to celebrate the significant yet often overlooked contributions of Chinese laundries in America. Developed with students from San Francisco State University and the Academy of Art University, the project invites visitors to explore this history deeply.
