The Presidio Tunnel Tops Stewards program invites volunteers from April to September to engage in landscaping and gardening at the Presidio Tunnel Tops in San Francisco. Participants will perform tasks such as pruning and weeding while learning about the site’s unique plant life. Registration is required, and special arrangements are necessary for groups of five or more. Volunteers of all ages can participate, but those under 18 need parental consent. Training is provided, and the program supports community service obligations. Volunteers should be prepared for varied weather conditions and dress appropriately.
To save time on your first visit, please bring a completed Presidio Trust Volunteer Agreement Form. Staff also have copies of these forms available onsite.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have the parental consent section of these forms signed by a parent/legal guardian or they will not be allowed to participate.
We'll be working rain or shine. Wear clothes that can get dirty. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required.
No experience necessary. Training and tools will be provided. Fulfills community service requirements.
