The HellaFunny Olympics is a weekly competitive comedy event where San Francisco comedians face Oakland comedians in a Battle of the Bay. Teams trade jokes in a head-to-head joke-off, with comics eliminated after bombing and individual comics staying as long as each joke lands. Semifinals feature top performers of the night competing against each other. The last comic standing wins a championship belt for their city and a chance at residency at The Function Comedy Club.
