In his final interview of the season, San Jose Sharks forward Tyler Toffoli discussed the team's disappointing end to the season and emphasized the importance of growth and experience. He reflected on his own successful season, scoring 30 goals, and his role in guiding younger teammates moving forward. Toffoli acknowledged the need for improvement, particularly in areas like conditioning and game execution, and expressed hope for the team to attract new talent in the offseason, while expressing satisfaction with his decision to join the Sharks.
I think it sucks, obviously⦠we always try and hope to win the last game of the season, but just really disappointing overall.
You got to take it and use it as motivation within the summer... know that you don't want to have this feeling again.
There were a lot of breakdowns and just not being able to find a way... but I think there were a lot of factors.
At the end of the day, it was my decision... I think I definitely had a fun year in regards of being around the guys.
