The San Jose Sharks have signed defenseman Mattias Hävelid, a member of their 2022 draft class, to a three-year entry-level contract. Last season, Hävelid played in Sweden, achieving one assist in 19 games with Linköping HC and 14 points in 18 games with Djurgårdens IF, which gained promotion to the SHL. Drafted 45th overall, Hävelid joins other 2022 draftees Bystedt and Lund under contract, as the Sharks continue to develop their young talent pool.
