Rappaport founded NYU Wireless, authored over 400 papers and 20 books, and co-founded two wireless technology companies. He holds appointments in NYU's Courant Institute and Grossman School of Medicine and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the Wireless Hall of Fame.
