Jensen Huang Becomes The World's 8th Richest Person

Jensen Huang became the world’s 8th richest person with $176 billion, up by $22 billion this year. He owns 3.5% of Nvidia, placing him behind major institutional investors such as Vanguard and BlackRock, while remaining the largest individual owner. Nvidia’s market capitalization is nearly $5.3 trillion. Huang co-founded Nvidia in 1993 and has served as CEO since then. Nvidia began as a graphics chip company, then Huang steered it toward AI-driven hardware. Nvidia revenue rose from $4.7 billion in 2015 to a projected over $215 billion this year, with growth accelerating from $27 billion in 2023 to $60.9 billion in 2024 and an estimated 65% year-over-year rate. Nvidia’s market cap could reach $10 trillion.
