After the Palisades Fire in January 2025, Marlo and chef Gianba Vinzoni opened Cinque Terre West in Venice, having previously lost their restaurant in the fire. The couple's struggle to find a stable home for their family and a new dining location resonated with locals. With the help of Andre Ulloa, who invested in the restaurant, they were able to revive the beloved eatery, providing a nostalgic space for former Palisades residents. Their menu remains unchanged, featuring popular dishes, drawing former patrons back together after the devastation.
Marlo and Gianba were able to make deep connections with the Palisades. The new location still has that aura they captured in the Palisades.
Displaced Palisades resident Andre Ulloa was instrumental in helping the Vinzonis bring their restaurant back to life.
