A TikTok video of Ilia Malinin's Grand Prix Final routine prompted a late-night binge of classic figure skating performances, including Tara Lipinski (1998 Nagano), Oksana Baiul (1992 Lillehammer), Katarina Witt (1988 Calgary), and numerous Michelle Kwan routines. Michelle Kwan, age 45 and former U.S. Ambassador to Belize, announced the arrival of her second child, Della Rose Kwan. Kwan described overwhelming joy when holding the baby and seeing her older daughter meet the newborn. Kwan reflected on being amazed by her body both as an Olympian and during pregnancy, noted moments of frustration over lack of control, thanked her doctors, and said she had hoped for more than a decade.
