Alterra Mountain Company released its 2025 Forward Stance Impact Report, emphasizing its commitment to social responsibility through four pillars: Planet, People, Community, and Responsibility. The company became the first U.S.-based ski company to have its greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets verified by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Alterra aims to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50% by FY2030, increase renewable electricity sourcing to 100%, and ensure 67% of suppliers have science-based targets by FY2030.
