Winter Sports World (WSW) is a AUD 700-million, year-round indoor snow centre planned for Penrith, Western Sydney, set to open in 2028. Sunac-BonSki will provide design consulting, pre-opening support and operational management, bringing experience from 11 large-scale indoor snow resorts across China. The facility will include a 300-meter advanced ski run, an elite training zone for slalom and giant slalom, a separate beginner slope, and chemical-free snowmaking maintained at -4°C year-round. The slopes were designed with input from Snow Australia, the NSW Institute of Sport, and the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia to support grassroots and elite athlete development.
