Pacific Group Resorts Adds SilverStar, BC, to Its Growing Network, Expanding Access for Passholders Across North America - SnowBrains
""SilverStar is an extraordinary resort with a loyal community and a spirit that aligns perfectly with PGR's values," Fischer said. "We firmly believe this is one of those rare places where families and friends can build and renew bonds that enrich their lives.""
"Jay Peak celebrated the announcement publicly on social media, calling SilverStar "a wildly unique mid-mountain village" and extending "a big welcome" to its new sister resort."
"In the same message, Jay Peak mentioned the expanded access now available to its 2025-26 passholders: five days at SilverStar plus 20% off lodging, with blackout dates on December 26-31, 2025; January 17-18, 2026; and February 14-16, 2026."
Pacific Group Resorts acquired SilverStar Mountain Resort in British Columbia, adding one of North America's 15 largest ski resorts and strengthening a fast-growing network of independent ski areas. SilverStar offers more than 3,300 acres of skiable terrain, a vibrant mid-mountain village, and a deeply rooted local community. SilverStar was named the No. 3 Ski Resort in Canada in Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards. The resort becomes PGR's second Canadian property alongside Mount Washington Alpine Resort. Reciprocal benefits for 2025-26 season passholders include five days at SilverStar and a 20% lodging discount, with specified blackout dates. Resort leadership will remain in place.
