Québécois freeride skier and bungee jumping professional Nick Steers ventured across the pond to ski at Chamonix and came across this vertigo inducing hike accessed line that he just had to try."

"There is a fixed rope at the top of the ridge line for skiers to safely lower themselves down to the drop zone and multiple chutes to choose from once you are clicked in and ready to go. Nick opted for a short but ultra steep 65 degree slope that spilled back out on to the main trail, it was predictably spicy but he skied like a champ."

Chamonix, France contains some of the most demanding inbounds terrain, including vertigo-inducing hike-accessed lines with fixed ropes for safe descent to drop zones. Skiers can choose from multiple chutes once clicked in and ready to go. Québécois freeride skier and bungee jumping professional Nick Steers skied one such line, lowering himself on a fixed rope to access the entry. He chose a short, ultra steep 65 degree slope that spilled back onto the main trail and executed the descent cleanly despite the spicy angle. The resort offers numerous heart pumping side quests for adventurous skiers.
