Amine Adli has joined Bournemouth from Bayer Leverkusen for €25.1m on a five-year contract. The 25-year-old becomes Bournemouth's seventh summer signing and provides versatility, primarily as a number 10 while also able to play on both flanks and as a striker. Adli featured 143 times for Leverkusen, recording 10 goals and 12 assists in 42 matches during the 2023-24 season when the club won the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal under Xabi Alonso. Bournemouth have spent over €400m (£346m) on transfers since Bill Foley's takeover in January 2023. The club sold defenders to top teams and are targeting Axel Disasi on loan.
