"We believe we deserved the victory after the chances we created and how we played. Thanks to our football and the effort of our players, we scored in the last seconds and got the three points.""

Enzo Maresca received a second yellow and was dismissed around the 96th minute after sprinting down the touchline to celebrate Estevao's stoppage-time winner in Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Liverpool. Match referee Anthony Taylor issued the red card, leaving assistant coach Willy Caballero to conduct Maresca's customary post-match media duties. Caballero praised the players' effort and said Chelsea deserved the victory after creating chances and scoring in the final seconds. The Football Association confirmed Maresca accepted a charge for acting 'in an improper manner and/or [using] abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour during the fixture', resulting in a one-match touchline ban and an £8,000 fine. Caballero will lead the team at the City Ground.
