ESPN ranks him as Georgia's No. 1 prospect and the No. 5 defender nationally in the 2027 class. He recorded 102 tackles and 16 sacks as a junior and nearly 300 tackles across three varsity seasons. Jacobs is a three-year starter at Blessed Trinity High School, the son of former Georgia defensive tackle David Jacobs, and the godson of Mark Richt. His pledge joins five-star receiver Jamier Brown and other ESPN 300 commits in Ohio State's 2027 class, strengthening the program's recruiting momentum ahead of the Cotton Bowl.
