Deja vu! Silva, Uche post identical transfer goodbyes
"When I arrived at Wolves, I did so full of ambition, dreams, and a desire to make my mark. I know I didn't live up to expectations. But football and life are about more than numbers or moments on the pitch."

"During my time here, I grew, learned, and, above all, discovered the true meaning of family. That's what Wolves gave me. From day one, the people at this club made sure I never lacked support."

Fábio Silva completed a move to Dortmund on Aug. 29 and posted a farewell on Instagram expressing ambition, regret, and a broader perspective on football and life. Christantus Uche posted an almost identical message five days later upon signing for Crystal Palace, substituting Getafe for Wolves. Both messages include sentences about growth, learning, and discovering the meaning of family, and both praise the respective club's support from day one. The posts mirror each other word for word except for the closing lines naming each club. Neither player has yet played for their new teams but could appear after September's international break.
