Arsenal completed the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace for a reported £60m and unveiled him ahead of their Premier League clash with Leeds United. The England international signed a long-term contract in north London after five seasons at Palace, having made 169 appearances with 40 goals and 29 assists. Eze recorded 16 direct goal involvements in 2024-25 (eight goals, eight assists) and scored the winning goal in Palace's FA Cup victory over Manchester City, securing the club's first major trophy and European qualification. Eze began his youth career at Arsenal before moving via QPR to Palace.
