Conor Gallagher has joined Tottenham Hotspur from Atletico Madrid in a reported £34m transfer on a long-term deal said to be five-and-a-half years. Gallagher moved to Atletico in 2024, making 77 appearances across all competitions with seven goals and seven assists. In 2025–26 he made 30 appearances, including the Club World Cup, but started only 10 matches and completed a single full 90 minutes. Gallagher previously accumulated 136 Premier League appearances for West Brom, Crystal Palace and Chelsea. He had been close to joining Aston Villa earlier in the window and could debut against West Ham.
