"Form of my life is a bit exaggerated. I'm having a good start to the season,"
"It did me good to score again today. I've often said that I didn't change anything. It's self-confidence, especially with the way we're playing at Bayern at the moment. Sometimes things go well, sometimes they don't. Right now it's going well for me."
"It was very important that he also tracks back and defends transitions, you need that even against Luxembourg. Serge did that very well. Offensively he also was very good."
Serge Gnabry scored in Germany's 4-0 World Cup qualifying win against Luxembourg after an earlier effort was ruled out for handball. The 30-year-old has two goals in three qualifying matches this campaign and has contributed three goals and six assists in 15 appearances for Bayern Munich. Gnabry described claims of being in the form of his life as exaggerated but acknowledged increased confidence from club performances. He generated 0.33 expected goals from four shots against Luxembourg and won all four duels. Coach Julian Nagelsmann praised his defensive tracking, transition defending and offensive contribution as Germany topped Group A.
