Jack Grealish underwent surgery to repair a foot injury sustained during Everton's 1-0 win over Aston Villa and has confirmed his season is over. Grealish was on a season-long loan from Manchester City and made 22 appearances, scoring two goals and supplying six assists. His eight goal involvements led Everton in 2025-26, and he created 38 chances while completing 37 dribbles. The injury ends any outside chance of selection for England's World Cup squad. Everton sit eighth in the Premier League, six points behind fifth place, and will miss his contributions for the remainder of the campaign.
