Wales supporters traveled to Astana for a 7,000-mile round trip World Cup qualifying match, marking the men's team's furthest-ever qualifier and first visit to Kazakhstan. More than 1,000 fans made the journey and many planned onward travel across Central Asia, including Almaty, Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Bukara, Kiva and Samaran by train, flight or automobile.
