Hutter wishes Monaco nothing but the best following sacking - Soccer News
"I will remember almost exclusively the positive things and the success of the last two years, during which we brought Monaco back into the top three in France and, after a long absence, experienced two Champions League campaigns in a row. Sometimes destinies separate, but I am completely happy with that. I am leaving behind a quality team that works well, with great individuals. I wish the management, the players, the staff and the entire club nothing but the best for the future."
"AS Monaco announces the departure of Adi Hütter. The Club wishes to thank Adi and his staff for the work accomplished, for their commitment to AS Monaco, and wishes them the best for the future. pic.twitter.com/Ce08A0BvW8 - AS Monaco EN (@AS_Monaco_EN) October 10, 2025"
Adi Hütter parted ways with AS Monaco after taking charge in July 2023 and managing 93 matches in all competitions. Monaco sat fifth in Ligue 1 after seven matches but had won just one of their last five outings, prompting the decision. Hütter led Monaco to two top-three finishes and consecutive Champions League appearances, averaging 1.9 points per game across 75 league matches (42 wins, 15 draws) and a 56% win rate. AS Monaco publicly thanked Hütter and his staff. Sebastien Pocognoli is reportedly the intended replacement; Monaco face Angers and Tottenham next.
