Coman scored over 70 goals across all competitions during a ten-year Bayern career, including the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. The transfer follows a trend of European stars moving to the Saudi Pro League for substantially higher wages than those in the top five European leagues. Coman said he had expected to stay at Bayern another season but accepted Al-Nassr’s rapid five-day offer after weighing the pros and cons. Other European clubs, including potential Premier League suitors, had shown loose interest during the window.
