Toronto improved to 13-6-2 and opened a nine-point lead over Vancouver in the six-team league. Sierra Cota-Yarde recorded the clean sheet as Toronto outshot Vancouver 15-1 on target. Vancouver had entered the match unbeaten in eight and on a four-game winning streak. Earlier, Ottawa Rapid drew 1-1 with Halifax Tides as Megumi Nakamura scored for Halifax and Florence Belzile equalized for Ottawa. Calgary hosted Montreal later Saturday.
