Heavy snowfall and freezing conditions forced the postponement of Bayer Leverkusen's scheduled Bundesliga match at Hamburg's Volksparkstadion. The fixture, originally set for Tuesday, has been called off due to weather-related safety concerns and a new date has not been announced. Two other German top-flight matches were also canceled over the weekend for similar reasons. Leverkusen currently sit fourth in the Bundesliga after a 4-1 loss to Stuttgart and will face Hoffenheim on Saturday. Hamburg occupy 13th place and are due to host Borussia Monchengladbach. The club said it will provide updates on the rescheduled fixture.
