Lucas Bergvall is expected to be sidelined for two to three months after re-injuring himself during Tottenham's Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. The 19-year-old will miss Sweden's World Cup playoff semi-final against Ukraine on March 26 and the squad announcement on March 18. The injury followed a prior knock against Bournemouth and occurred after Bergvall was hurried back into the starting lineup amid Tottenham's growing injury crisis. He played about an hour before being forced off in visible distress. The absence could cost Bergvall roughly 12–15 matches across all competitions, including key Premier League fixtures and a Champions League Round of 16 tie.
