Poland recovered to earn a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands in World Cup qualifying after Matty Cash struck a superb 80th-minute equaliser. The Netherlands took the lead through Denzel Dumfries' first-half header from a Memphis Depay corner. The Dutch started strongly with chances from Tijjani Reijnders and Cody Gakpo but failed to extend the lead in the second half. A VAR check confirmed Cash remained onside for the goal. The draw leaves Poland level with the Netherlands and Finland at the top of Group G. Eight Netherlands starters play in the Premier League.
