A club video replaced a previously reported June 10 end date with December 31, 2026. Neymar scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 28 games since returning to Santos, including eight league goals that helped avoid relegation despite injury absences. Neymar recently underwent minor left-knee surgery and has not played for Brazil since an ACL tear in October 2023. Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti said Neymar must be fully fit to play at the World Cup, and Neymar wants to participate.
