PSG v Angers: Line-ups, stats and preview
Briefly

Paris Saint-Germain expect a tricky tactical test against Angers, who defend deep and rely on counter-attacks. PSG won 1-0 at Nantes with Nantes holding 29% possession and Vitinha scoring in the 67th minute. Luis Enrique highlighted using long-range shots against a low block, deploying varied attacking options, keeping structure to attack, and pressing after losing the ball. PSG return home to the Parc des Princes and welcome fan support. Angers finished last season strongly with three wins in their final six matches and began this season with a 1-0 home win over Paris FC despite a red card.
We know how difficult it is to face teams like Angers, who defend well and look to counter-attack. Long-range shots are something we need to look for when facing a low block. We have different options against these teams and I'm happy to be able to play with that. We'll need structure to attack in the best way possible and to press when we lose the ball. Every match is different, and so is every pressure situation.
We are continuing from the end of last season's work. We saw that we could do something in Ligue 1. It's satisfying for everyone to feel that we belong and show that we can play. We know that this is the best team in the world, so it's a privilege to play against them. We'll have fun... We know they'll have a lot of the ball but we'll be together and as soon as we get the opportunity, we'll score.
