Four months after becoming head coach, she led Arsenal to Champions League victory over Barcelona, the club's first in 18 years. Slegers joined Arsenal as an assistant coach in 2023 and has overseen 51 matches, winning 36 and achieving a 70.6% win rate while the team scored 130 goals and conceded 50.
