Suarez appears to spit at opposition coach after melee

Moments later, Suarez was involved in an altercation with a Sounders staff member and was held back by team-mate Oscar Ustari before appearing to spit in the coach's direction."

Seattle manager Brian Schmetzer condemned the conduct and said it distracted from the Sounders' dominant performance. Inter Miami coach Javier Mascherano said he did not see the incident and mentioned possible provocation. The Sounders won 3-0 with goals from Osaze De Rosario, Alex Roldan and Paul Rothrock.
