Teenager Estevao shows promise in Palmer absence
Briefly

Estevao Willian replaced Cole Palmer in the warm-up and made his first Premier League start for Chelsea, conceding possession with a flick that led to West Ham's early opener. He provided a first-half assist for Enzo Fernández as Chelsea won 5-1. At 18 years and 120 days he became Chelsea's youngest player to assist a Premier League goal. Chelsea paid £29m for him amid interest from Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester City. He scored in the Club World Cup quarter-finals. Manager Enzo Maresca and teammate Marc Cucurella praised his potential while stressing the need to adapt.
He needs to adapt, he needs to make many mistakes to understand how the Premier League is different to Brazil,
We conceded after he did the flick. He needs to understand, but he is a fantastic player.
"I think he's young but he showed that he's very mature," said Chelsea team-mate Marc Cucurella. "He made very good decisions and all the new players, all the new signings came here to help the team, to bring something good, good energy, good talent. I think we have an amazing squad, so I hope we can do good things this season."
