"Deoujenea Clay, Clayton Valley Charter basketball: The junior had 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting and seven assists to help lift her team to a 75-26 victory over West Campus. Clay is averaging 13.4 points, 5.8 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 3.9 steals per game. Adhuna Devineni, Mission San Jose basketball: Averaged 17.3 points in victories during the week over Granada (63-60), Lowell (55-52) and Edison (55-41)."

Nominations for future polls are accepted via highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com until 11 a.m. each Monday, and stats submitted by coaches or team statisticians are reviewed.
