Eight of the top 10 African nations have reached the AFCON 2025 quarterfinals: Senegal, Mali, Morocco, Cameroon, Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria and Ivory Coast. Quarterfinal matches take place across four Moroccan stadiums on January 9 and 10, with Mali v Senegal and Cameroon v Morocco on the first day, followed by Algeria v Nigeria and Egypt v Ivory Coast. Nigeria and Algeria remain unbeaten through the knockout stage, while Morocco and Ivory Coast entered as early favourites.
