Dean Henderson kept a clean sheet for Crystal Palace, making timely saves and showing composure that strengthens his England contention. Dominik Szoboszlai scored a free-kick against Arsenal and contributed solid defensive work against Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Martinelli. Marcos Senesi dominated Tottenham, suggesting rapid improvement after only a few Bournemouth appearances and nullifying Richarlison. Marc Guehi scored and has matured into a captain and leader crucial for Crystal Palace. David Brooks was Bournemouth's standout versus Tottenham, creating opportunities and nearly providing assists. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall regained confidence and form for Everton.
Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace): I know it looked like a comfortable game for Crystal Palace against Villa but in a week where many goalkeepers didn't do that well, I thought Henderson was solid, composed and making a push now for Jordan Pickford's England place in this World Cup season. He made good saves when he needed and got the clean sheet as well. Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool): Magic on that right foot in that free-kick against Arsenal. For me, defensively, he was solid as well.
Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth): I was at the Spurs game, he was excellent. He looks like he's just going to go up a level and can grow even more, which is weird to say considering he has only played a few games for Bournemouth. He handled a Spurs team who were flying. Richarlison never stood a chance. Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace): Obviously had that wonderful finish but he just looks a cut above at Palace.
