Adam Hinshelwood, aged 41, has left his role as York City manager with immediate effect. He joined the Minstermen in February 2024 after managing Worthing. He guided the club to safety later that season and then led them to second place the following season, finishing six points short of automatic promotion to League Two. Hinshelwood departs despite an unbeaten start to the current National League campaign, in which York recorded three draws and one victory from four games. The club confirmed the separation while positioned competitively in the National League standings.
