Joby Aviation has expanded its pilot manufacturing facility in Marina, California, increasing its size to 435,500 square feet. The facility will have a production capacity of 24 electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft annually, reaching near full production of one aircraft every two weeks. This facility will support essential processes such as federal certification, ground and flight testing, pilot training, and aircraft maintenance. Joby has also added a sixth aircraft to its fleet, achieving airworthiness certification shortly after its completion.
